Update: This is what I found on a related bulletin board.

The guy's name is Jay Lee, a former army officer and a Kuk Sul Won instructor. (sic) On another note, the officer (I think he was a Houston officer) was actually suspended for knocking 'ol boy stupid and then then just leaving him there, instead of arresting him and signing an affidavit.
