Who Killed the Electric Car?

Ten years ago electric cars roamed California fast and free. Mysteriously they dissappeared as swiftly as they arrived. Normally I do NOT promote movies but this is definitely one I would love for every American to see. It's called Who Killed the Electric Car and it is a documentary that discusses the main thing wrong with our government and the corporations that run it; GREED. "There are still roughly 1 trillion barrels worth of oil in the earth's crust which means there are over 100 trillion dollars worth of business yet to be done."
It was among the fastest, most efficient production cars ever built. It ran on electricity, produced no emissions and catapulted American technology to the forefront of the automotive industry. The lucky few who drove it never wanted to give it up. So why did General Motors crush its fleet of EV1 electric vehicles in the Arizona desert?
