Bad-ass Houston band, Drop Trio

Here is a little update on the SXSW (South by Southwest) festival in Austin:

This was the best show of my night. When the band started playing, there were guys in the audience laughing because it was so good. Just laughing and shaking their heads and moving their feet. The sound was great, the playing was tight, and everyone in the place dug it. Dan Workman, who was sitting behind me, called out for an encore as they were trying to leave the stage and he got one. This was the one show of the night that felt like watching a band that is on the verge of bigger things.
