Reagan's Opinion of Young Bush

President Ronald Reagan sure didn't have much regard for his Vice President's son. Judging by this journal entry dated May 17, 1986, I don't think Reagan would have voted for George W?

This quote was taken directly from the recently published "Reagan Diaries:"
'A moment I've been dreading. George brought his ne're-do-well son around this morning and asked me to find the kid a job. Not the political one who lives in Florida. The one who hangs around here all the time looking shiftless. This so-called kid is already almost 40 and has never had a real job. Maybe I'll call Kinsley over at The New Republic and see if they'll hire him as a contributing editor or something. That looks like easy work.'

Running Short on Cash

The U.S. Government can give $30 billion to the Jewish nation but can't afford medals for the people who have been injured fighting for our country:
We’ve apparently reached a point in which U.S. troops are injured so frequently in Iraq and Afghanistan — the number is now near 30,000 — that the military is running out of Purple Hearts.

Moving Website...

I havent' gone away, I'm just working on my other weblog at Wordpress.com.

After 18 months, 1,221 posts, and over 120,000 hits (see below), I am trying to move away from Blogger.com. It has somehow gotten fucked up and doesn't work well on my machine so I have been posting over at: http://www.allthingscool.wordpress.com/

Breeding Terror

The U.S. is giving Israel $30 Billion over the next ten years to finance their military and calling it an, "Investment in peace:"
The Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert, has said the aid will preserve his country's military advantage over other countries in the Middle East.
